With its PIR motion sensor, long range wireless range and easy set up, this may well be the best driveway alarm for general applications.

The motion sensor may also be used for entrances, porches, or other areas you wish to protect or monitor. The Dakota DCMA-4000 motion sensor transmitter is outdoor rated and will detect people and vehicles entering your property or driveway, sending a wireless signal up to a mile to the wireless receiver. When motion is detected, the receiver will flash an LED indicator and play your choice of notification tunes/tones.

When the sensor senses motion, the DCMT-4000 transmitter sends a wireless signal up to 4000 feet to the included DCR-4000 wireless receiver. The receiver plugs in to a wall outlet and will play your choice of 12 different sounds. At the same time, an indicator LED will light up on the receiver. The transmitter is battery powered using a 9V battery (not included) and the receiver is powered by the included plug-in power adapter.

The Dakota 4000 system is totally expandable. Up to 16 different sensors/transmitters, 12 of which will have its own alert tone. You can add additional DCMT-4000 sensors to monitor front and back entrances, multiple property lines and much more. Up to 16 different sensors (transmitters) can be paired with this kit by adding additional sensors. DCHT-4000 - additional rubber hose sensor and transmitter. BBT-4000 - additional break beam sensor and transmitter. DCPT-4000 - additional metal sensing driveway probe and transmitter.

Note: The 2500 series alerts are not compatible with the new 4000 series alerts. The DCMA-4000 replaces the DCMA-2500 with up to double the wireless range, but it does not have any relay or 12VDC output.
